RESTORE OR ADD COLOUR
Photographs can also lose or change colour. This can happen over time with exposure to ordinary light as well as sunlight, and to photos that were printed on unstable paper which was common in the 70s and 80s. It is often possible to regain original colour, which was the case in both these photos on the right. When colour can't be retrieved or with a black and white or sepia photo, an alternative can be to add new colour as in this portrait below. |
